Thrombolysis is available 24/7 at CRH – Clear onset <4.5hrs
Extended Thrombolysis is available Mon-Fri 08-16:30 at CRH (BH’s excluded) – Onset <9hrs
(Extended Throbloysis ONLY – if wakes with symptoms mid-point of sleep is taken as onset time)
Weekend Thrombectomy service
From 1st November 2025. This service will operate from 08:00 to 15:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, and will also be available on bank holidays. The extended Thrombectomy protocols will apply as they do during weekdays.
Please note that extended Thrombolysis WILL NOT be available on weekends.
